Virginia Tech 28 Pitt 0 - 2019 ACC Football

Pitt’s offense didn’t show up. And with it, Pitt’s chances for defending its Coastal Division championship in the ACC this year.

The result, Pitt dropped a 28-0 game to Virginia Tech in a crucial divisional match-up.

Virginia Tech’s QB Hendon Hooker finished the day 10 for 13 passing with 2 TDs and 153 yards.

The Hokies also piled up 48 carries for 110 yards.

While neither stat was all that impressive, the real story was Pitt’s QB Kenny Pickett finished the day 10 for 26 for 103 yards passing.

The two teams last played in 2014 in their only ACC contest. Pitt prevailed at BC 30-20 in that game.
