Panthers lead 33-24 at halftime
The story so far today has been Au'Diese Toney once again, who finishes the half with 13 points and three rebounds. Coming off of a career-high 27 points against Duke, Toney looks poised to hit the 20+ points mark once again for just the third time in his career.
Pitt did a nice job of limiting turnovers, with just four in the first half. Miami turned it over nine times.
Finally, with just seven three point attempts in the first half, the Panthers seem to be utilizing some selective aggression here, carefully choosing their spots especially in the absence of sharp shooter Ryan Murphy.
More coverage coming in the second half.
