Well didn’t expect to win. Have to be able to throw for more than 8 yards. I can’t believe I actually typed 8 yards. Beyond embarrassing in 2018 for a non-triple option team.

First, hard to put all of the blame on Pickett. He didn’t have time to set most of the game without running for his life. I think he was spooked from the first series.

Watson has got to go. Nothing personal, but he probably makes more than 400 grand to call the offense. You can say, “well then ran for 492 yards etc.” for a game or whatever.

But what could Pitt achieve with a balanced attack?? Probably more than 7 wins.

I think the defense played ok. From the football that I’ve coached and played, when your defense is on the field for the majority of the game (See Clemson, Penn State, Notre Dame, UCF) it’s hard to stop offenses the whole game. Can’t win games 7-3 in 2018 versus the Power 5.

I digress. Love Pitt. I think Narduzzi is the guy. Let’s keep him and build off this season with a new offensive coordinator. Hail to Pitt.
