Coach Capel, and his staff, have ramped up their recruiting efforts lately to land 2021 5-Star Shooting Guard Aminu Mohammed.

Shawn Harmon, Aminu Mohammed’s Guardian, told Stockrisers.com that Pitt Assistant Coach O’Toole has reached out to Aminu before and after the pandemic started. Even though Pitt hasn’t offered Mohammed a scholarship yet, he feels Pitt is the best fit.

Mohammed, a 6’4 175lb Shooting Guard from Washington, D.C., is considered a 5-Star recruit by 247Sports. Mohammed has visited Kansas State, Maryland, Indiana, and Louisville. He also holds offers from other schools.
