Today, the University of Pittsburgh officially hired Jeff Capel, former player and assistant coach at Duke University, as their new Head Basketball coach.

The introductory press conference, held inside the Peterson Events Center, was about as strong of a first impression as one could make. Pitt Athletic Director Heather Lyke introduced Capel to a group of fans, alumni and members of the Pittsburgh media.

First-year guard Shamiel Stevenson has no plans to leave the program, sharing multiple photographs from the season.

“Are you leaving?…. Nah fam mans are staying stillll [sic],” he wrote.
