Nyan Boateng

Notes: As a junior, Boateng made 50 catches for 940 yards and 14 touchdowns despite facing double teams consistently throughout the season. He plays cornerback on defense as well. A two-sport star, Boateng excels in football and basketball. As a junior, he averaged 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists on the hardcourt. He has earned top scholarship offers for both sports and hopes to play both in college.

Coach O'Connor: "What separates him is his competitiveness. He's very competitive and hard working. He works hard in practice and in games. During basketball season, he was still in the weight room working out for football. He's competitive in that, when he was timed at 4.4 in the 40 during the San Antonio Army Combine [in January of 2004], he still wasn't satisfied. He wants to be the best."
