Pommells excels on both sides of the football. As a junior last season, he played safety and wide receiver positions. On offense, he made 35 receptions for 400 yards. He had over 1,000 total yards and scored 14 touchdowns. Defensively, he made 60 tackles with four interceptions.

Pommells could play safety, cornerback, or wide receiver on the next level.
