Pitt leads 28-24 at halftime


on the backs of strong performances from Justin Champagnie and Terrell Brown.

Champagnie has 13 points on a very strong 6-for-8 shooting (1-for-2 from three), four rebounds, one steal, and one block. Brown has nine points on 2-for-4 shooting (5-for-6 on free throws), four rebounds, two steals, and one block.

Also of note, McGowens left the game with an injury and went to the locker room with 2:50 to go in the first half. With Murphy still out with a concussion, Pitt's backcourt is very thin. We'll keep you posted when we learn more about McGowens' injury.
