Change For Khaleke Hudson

In just one week things have changed a lot for McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson.

Last week, Hudson announced that he’d be making his college decision on August 8th. 2 days later, the blue-chip safety changed his mind because he wasn’t 100% sure.

Now, it appears that Hudson could be months away from deciding on a school.

Brian Dohn from Scout.com (@BrianDohnScout) interviewed Hudson who revealed a few new details.

According to Dohn, Hudson plans in making two visits this weekend, to Pitt and West Virginia.  He was interested in checking out Pitt’s new locker room renovations.  2014_Panther_DinoCat_DinoSeal_logos

A few other interesting details:

***Despite rumors that he no longer had an offer, Penn State is still very much interested in him.

**Has interest in Virginia Tech, Michigan St, Maryland, Illinois, Penn State, Pitt and UCLA

**Only official visit that he definitely plans on making is to UCLA because of new defensive coordinator Tom Bradley.

**Hudson told Dohn  (@BrianDohnScout) that “as of right now, I plan on making my decision after the season.”

Last week when DreamBackfield.com talked with Hudson, he had lots of good things to say about Pitt and Pat Narduzzi.  Some of the highlights were that he likes that Narduzzi is a defensive kind of coach and he’s a defensive type of player. Also,  said that “Pitt is the hometown school and that he thinks Narduzzi “is going to do something special at Pitt.”

With that being said, it’s nearly impossible to get a read on Hudson. Of all the top recruits in the WPIAL Class of 2016, Hudson is the hardest to figure out who he was leaning towards.

The plan now is for Hudson to decide after the season but as we’ve already seen, things could change.
