Pitt received their 6th verbal commitment for the 2015 class as Alexis I Dupont (DE) Running Back/Receiver Quadree Henderson pledged to the Panthers!

Dreambackfield.com caught up with Henderson moments after his commitment.

Henderson stated, “I made my decision on Pitt once WVU dropped out of my top 3. I was thinking it over and I felt like it would be an injustice to Pitt to keep them waiting any longer.”

Coach Chyst was on the receiving end of the phone call when Henderson made his decision. “Coach Chryst told me that’s I made his night.”

“Pitt is a family. The main reason I wanted to commit was just how trustworthy the coaches are. They kept it 100 with me the whole time and it just feels right.”

Henderson has already taken a strong liking to fellow 2015 commit, QB Alex Hornibrook. “We’ve developed a strong relationship and now I’m going to start recruiting people myself.”

At Pitt, Henderson will be playing slot receiver. His speed will be a vital asset to Pitt in the future.

He joins Hornibrook from Malvern Prep, Linebacker Kevin Givens of Altoona, Tight End Nick Bowers of Kittanning, Offensive Lineman Alex Paulina of Cannon McMillan and Cornerback Malik Henderson of Hallandale, Florida.
