For the 10th time in 11 years under coach Jamie Dixon, Pitt has been selected for the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The 9th seed Panthers will meet the 8th seed Colorado Buffaloes in Orlando, FL on Thurs, 3/20 at 1:40pm EST in the 2nd round.
This season, Colorado (23-11 overall) finished 3rd in the Pac-12 Conference with a 10-8 record. Meanwhile, Pitt (25-9 overall) finished in 5th in the ACC Conference.
This will be the first ever meeting between Colorado and Pitt.
