Sights from the 2017 Pitt Passing Camp

Over 50 high school football teams made their way to the UPMC Sport Complex on the South Side this weekend as Pitt held their annual passing camp. The camp consists of a 7 on 7 tournament split into four brackets. This year’s winners were Penn Hills, Steel Valley, Mt. Lebanon, and Clairton. Many former, current, and (perhaps) future Panthers were in attendance as well as all of the Pitt coaching staff. The camp serves as a great way for the coaches to evaluate talent while also creating bonds with local high school coaches. Current players Quadree Henderson, Maurice Ffrench, and Damar Hamlin were there along with incoming freshman Paris Ford. Another interesting player in attendance was Penn State freshman Lamont Wade, who was supporting his high school, Clairton. Here are some pictures from the event:
