Saturday Nov. 15, 2014

No. 19 Clemson (7-2, 6-1 ACC) vs. No. 22 Georgia Tech (8-2, 5-2)

  • 12 p.m. – ESPN
  • Tigers by 3.5
  • Since a six-point loss at Florida State on Sept. 20, the Tigers have rattled off six straight wins. Clemson sits alone in second place of the Atlantic Division. The Yellow Jackets are playing some of their best football of the season over the past three weeks, outscoring opponents 147-61.

Virginia Tech (4-5, 1-4) vs. No. 21 Duke (8-1, 4-1)

  • 12 p.m. – ESPNU
  • Blue Devils by 5
  • Virginia Tech hasn’t won a game since an Oct. 4 win at North Carolina. The Hokies must win two of their final three regular season contests to extend the nation’s longest bowl streak. Duke controls its own destiny in the Coastal Division, claiming a one-game lead in the loss column over Georgia Tech and Miami.

Pittsburgh (4-5, 2-3) vs. North Carolina (4-5, 2-3)

  • 12:30 p.m. – ACC Network
  • Tar Heels by 2.5
  • The Panthers have lost five of their last six, with their sole win being a win over Virginia Tech in mid-October. On Nov. 1, Pittsburgh missed a last-second field goal that would have beaten Duke, and ended up losing by three in overtime. Both Pitt and UNC need to win two of their last three for bowl eligibility.

Wake Forest (2-7, 0-5) vs. North Carolina State (5-5, 1-5)

  • 3 p.m. – ESPN3
  • Wolfpack by 15
  • The Demon Deacons, the only ACC team without a conference win, have lost five straight contests dating back to a 10-point loss to Louisville in late September. The Wolfpack lost by 33 last week to Georgia Tech but will become bowl eligible with a win.

No. 3 Florida State (9-0, 6-0) vs. Miami (6-3, 3-2)

  • 8 p.m. – ABC
  • Seminoles by 2
  • The Seminoles, who remain perfect on the season, have slowly slid down the polls as a result of a weak schedule and inconsistent performance. Favored by only two points this week, a win should impress some voters. Miami dropped an Oct. 11 game at Georgia Tech, but has won three straight in convincing fashion since, by a combined score of 132-60.
